« on: Friday 19 September 14 18:52 BST (UK) »
Looking for Joseph Bradbury and his wife Eliza in 1841; I have drawn a big fact blank, can anyone help?

Joseph b around 1819 in Bilston, Staffs
Eliza (nee Twiggs) b 1823 in Quorndon, Leicestershire
Married 13 April 1840 in Nottingham Register Office; Joseph was a soldier, address simply Barracks; Eliza's address was Newcastle St.
Child born 1842 in Newcastle St, St Mary's, Nottingham; Joseph had left the army by then and was a traymaker.

So they were probably in Nottingham for the 1841 census but I can't find them!

Have you found them in 1851?
I think by then he is a coal miner and back in Bilston.

Registration district:    Wolverhampton
Sub-registration district:    Bilston
ED, institution, or vessel:    1b
Household schedule number:    18
Piece:    2021
Folio:    22
Page Number:    7

Joseph aged 30 b. Bilston
Eliza aged 29 b. Tordon, Leics.
William aged 8 b. Nottinghamshire
James aged 2 b. Sholly Ridge (?)  Durham
Eliza aged 1 month b. Bilston

So the family moved around a fair bit.
I can't see them in 1841 yet either.

Yes, they seem to have moved to co Durham for a while - it seems that one of Joseph's sisters did the same after she married.

Since they married in Nottingham in 1840 and their son was born with an address on the same street in 1842, Nott seems the likeliest placce for them to be in 1841 but I don't actually know that!
