Albert Hughes born Middleton Stoney 1890/91

Hi.

I wondered if anyone has Albert in their family tree or any information about him.

His parents were Jonas and Elizabeth A White.

He enlisted in the Sherwood Foresters and died in 1918.

What a treat to be able to do a look up for you for a change!!!

Albert was baptised in All Saints Church at Middleton Stoney on 9 Nov 1890 s o Jonas and Elizabeth, Lab of Middleton Stoney.

No marriage in the All Saints Church PR's for Jonas and Elizabeth but I do see Albert's siblings, he was one of at least 6. If you want their baptisms tell me.

I can see Jonas burial there on 6 Dec 1952 aged 89 though.

I am fine thanks, hope things are okay with you too. 

I had managed to find all the census information before I put up the request.

Albert went to Derby and enlisted there in1914, sadly dying in 1918.

I also found his siblings, William with a short service record and Arthur popping over to
America and marrying and dying there.

Jonas married Elizabeth possibly in Marsh Gibbon in 1885 as that is where she was from.

Any help further i.e. baptisms, marriages, burials of the family would be helpful.

There was another sibling - Annie Elizabeth B 1885, no baptism in Middleton Stoney PR's but her marriage is there

Annie Elizabeth spin d o Jonas a Cattleman on 12 March 1910 after banns to Arthur William HOLTON aged 29 a bach, groom/gardener s o William a Shepherd of Wendlebury

There is also a marriage for

Fred:White Hughes a bach Blacksmith s o Jonas on 20 Aug 1925 after banns to Lilian Maud BRAND d o Charles Frederick a Builder from Bucknell. Wits; Joseph Huges & Arthur Natless

Other wise nothing else.
