Alive and working as a teacher in 1949 in College road school Birmingham - parents and sister died and buried in handsworth cemetry Birmingham but i can find no trace of Charles after 1949. There is no national database for bmds in France.  As I mentioned on the other thread, newer records (generally within the last 100 years) are for the most part only accessible by writing directly to the Mairie.

Unfortunately Suzanne's birth record has a marginal notation for her marriage but nothing for her death. You could look in Rouen and surrounds for the births of her siblings if any, and see if marginal notes on those give you a better idea of where the family were in later years.
