Thomas married sarah Ann Jones. I am looking for his ancestry. I have confirmation and have tracked them since their marriage. I believe that sarah Ann's father also came from Cardiganshire but am unable to track him.

I am unsure where to look as so many have similar names..I am looking for any definate confirmation.

T,hank you all for replying

After having a look at census sheet it appears that this thomas is not the same as my thomas as my thomas went on to own a pub in Bedwellty. The census States that Thomas was blind but the census 1871 dies not mention that and he is living with his wife Sarah Ann in 1871

Hi,

That was Thomas the son of David Morgan and Margaret Thomas who you gave the info on in the original post.

Victoria Bedwelty Monmouthshire 1871

Thomas Morgan  35 Born  Eglwys-Fach, Cardiganshire. Innkeeper.
Sarah Anne Morgan  37 Born Philadelphia.
Octavia Edward Morgan  8
David Wynne Morgan  7
Margaret Ann Morgan  5
Sarah Jane Morgan  4
Mary Anna Morgan  1 Year, 1 Month
Edward Jones  73 Born Eglwys-Fach. Cardiganshire Father-in-law. Mason.
Augustus Theophrutus Morgan  13
Morgan Morgans  22

Thomas Morgan married Sarah Anne Jones - Bedwelty - Dec 1869 - 11a 174 - some of the Morgan children appear to have been born before that marriage.  Perhaps Thomas was married previously.
This marriage cert should give information on the father of Thomas.
