Hi Leanne,
                Yes I have that, many thanks. I am trying to sort out what is fact and what is fiction in that Obituary. I can't find any record of him receiving the DCM in the Boer War or any mention of other military  honours eg.  the Order of the Legion of Honour, the Order of St Anne of Russia, and the Order of Leopold of Belgium.  I do know he was awarded the Military Cross for his actions in WW1 Thought the article from the MacThomas Clan might clarify some of these anomalies
