William Henry WILLIAMS
« on: Saturday 04 October 14 05:55 BST (UK) »
At the time of the 1911 census my great-grandfather, William Henry Williams (born in Bangor on 9 November 1857), lived at 6 Davis Street, Abercrave, Swansea. His family consisted of his wife Annie (52); their son John Herbert (Jack), born in Nuneaton in 1892; and their daughter Jane Ellen (Nellie), Nellie, born in Bangor in 1893. The eldest child, Thomas Henry (my grandfather), born in 1887, had previously left home and was working in the mines in Derbyshire.

Both William and Jack worked in the coal industry: William was a colliery mechanic (above ground), Jack a colliery labourer (below ground). The only further information I have is that Jack had a son called Eric.

Since I live in Australia, I would appreciate any information about William Henry Williams from any descendants of the family. In particular, I want to find out when and where he died.
Thank you in anticipation of your help.

Thank you, Peter.
