Hi there,

Does anyone have access, please, to MI's for Hull for burials in 1972? If so, would it be possible to see if the above Frederick is listed anywhere. These are the details of his death.

Are you sure he was buried and not cremated?
If so, where was he buried? By 1972 most churchyards would be full, and municipal cemeteries used.
I would imagine there are more than one in Hull.

Thanks to both of you for the links. I have no idea whether he was buried or cremated. Living in Australia means I can't get to Hull to research personally.

However, I will see if I can get any further using the 2 links you've give me to see if CD's have been produced containing the information. Perhaps the Hull Family History Society would be a good place to go to also.

If I was you I would try the email addresses first?

Most burial records are held at Chanterlands Avenue Crematorium - whose email address is on the 1st link I gave you, and they say they offer advice/information.

That link also tells you what information they want from you - so please read the page!

Thats the advantage of the internet -neither KGarrad nor I live anywhere near Hull, but it makes no difference where in the World you are - googling found these links and you can contact these two places to see if they can provide the info you are looking for. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.
