Cheap Entertainment

We all know how expensive this wonderful hobby can be but like everyone else, I try to keep the costs down.  One way I try to do this is to consider whether I am going to get enough information to justify the expense.  My theory is if I really 'think' about it, then I deserve to spend it. 

Earlier this week I found that I could download all the burials at the burial grounds in Dartford from 1860ish to present.  I knew a lot of my ancestors would have been buried in these burial grounds and I hadn't found the information anywhere else.  The cost - £5.00.  As usual, I deliberated all day, mentioned it to OH who, without hesitation, said yes, go ahead. 

So, I paid my £5.00, downloaded all the records and have spent three, maybe four, wonderful evenings ploughing through finding my ancestors burials.  What wonderful value!!  Where else could you get three or four evenings entertainment for a fiver?

Sorry to say I can beat the 5pounds for 3-4 evenings entertainment!
