Marriage look-up John Jose in Michigan

Will someone be able to find a marriage between John Jose and  Zuila A ?
In 1940 John Jose was living at Ward 1, Detroit, Detroit City, Wayne, Michigan, United States age 45.
The John Jose that I am  interested in lived in Cornwall,England  and his parents were John and Mary Jose.
John Jose emigrated in 1920.
John had a brother called William J Jose who emigrated in 1922. Still trying to find info about him.

The son on the 1940 census - John Jose was born 10 September 1936 and died in California 14 November 1989 - San Luis Obispo -  Mothers maiden Name Alberta.

Added The above John Jose is not the correct John - John/Johnny Jose born 9 May 1937 in  Michigan. Died 19 Nov 2006 in  Oxnard, Ventura Co., California.

Yet there is a death for Zuila Jose born 9 Dec 1913 and died 5 th June 1986 - San Bernadino California. Mothers maiden name :- Potter  Father Young. According to SSDI her SSN was issued in Michigan  (Michigan (1951-1952)
Wonder if A was just a middle name Alberta

There is a 1934 City Directory entry for Zuila Young - r 750 Malleable Flint Michigan. So marriage later than this.

The couple are listed Royal Oak, Michigan, City Directory, 1953 - 3671 Kingston av O I Pk I - Royal Oak; Ferndale, Michigan - John is a Hammersmith. Can't see listing between 1935 - 1940

There is an entry Flint, Michigan, City Directory, 1936 for John Jose (Suella)  blksmith r 1716 Berent.

John Jose blksmith is also at that address in 1934 - No Zuila.

I looked at the draft registration and he is the correct John Jose. His sister Ethel Jose married James Kitto in the US in 1929. I found details of that marriage in the newspaper FindMyPast.
Can't quite make out the christian name but surname is Kitto for the 'person who will always know your address.
