UPdate :Have found 8 names for ggfather's 11  full siblings
including 2 deceased in latvia

In  George's 1920 hospital admissions records  it says 9 of his siblings are still alive
1 was in Scotland ..5 were in USA

where was the eldest ?

the eldest sibling would be born after his parents marriage in 1868 but before
 ggfather; george Jacob Fellman  in 1870

One candidate is Abraham Fellman who appears on a Manchester Rate book in 1898 at Herbert Street with Abraham isaac Cohen
but can find no other ref to him .

the missing birth years on latvian records are between 1871 and 1879

If the missing 2 were girls they will be harder to find

The Jacob Fellman who keeps turning up in Lancashire + west Derby  is from Austria...


I think Rachel Fellman who died in  Manchester 1900 aged 27 b.approx1873
his sister but could be a sister in law

Bernard was the 3rd sibling to die pre1924 preceeding my ggfather George Jacob .

He left  no will so his goods +chattell went to wife Lena nee Ratner
and daughter Matilda

the latter lived a very long life + becme a landscape architect

I.m going to go back over  records

Am in contact with some American descendants
Now have a photo of an elderly Leizer-mendal .....

Named as Rabbi Lasarus Solomon Fellman   
    .photo was.found among his daughters possessions Celia Levine ( Sora/Sara Fellman .)

Just got to find a suitable time to call

So although my mum doesnt have any jewish  cousins
She is pleased
 Maisie FELLMAN roberts jones b 1899
Had at least 1 cousin who is still alive today ....

Maisies father George Jacob FELLMAN b 1871was the second eldest of Samuel FELLMANs 18 children and Estelle Fellman was the 2nd youngest born 1897
