The address given for the Cumberlands is Loughborogh Parks which can be found on http://www.old-maps.co.uk/
Enter the Post Code LE11 2UA
Click on any of the addresses and load the first 1:2500 map
On later maps it is Park Grange

The buildings still show on Google maps - use the same post code - but look dilapidated.

It can be found for sale on http://www.spencersdruce.co.uk/land-other-buy-let-leicestershire?view=property&id=47

Also - http://www.haddonwayra.org.uk/portfolio/

The nearets church is Emmanuel, which is where the census routes terminate. Francis was married there and so possibly his parents are buried there.

A decent map can be found on http://maps.nls.uk/geo/find/index.cfm
Enter the location as Loughborough
From category, select England and Wales Ordnance Survey
Then OS Six-inch, 1842-1952
When the grid appears, click on the one just below Loughborough - shows Nanpanton
Loughborough Parks is approx 1/4 in from the right-hand side and half way up.

A possible birth just over the border in Nottinghamshire:-
birth: 5 June 1780
christening: 11 June 1780 RADCLIFFE ON TRENT,NOTTINGHAM,ENGLAND
Son of John and Ann

burial more likely in the Loughborough cemetery - Emmanuel has only a few stones
I was Christened there myself a few moons ago  ;D

http://www.findmypast.co.uk (subscription site) has images of most of the Cumberland children's baptisms (non-conformist) and two of them give Catherine/Kitty's parents, but they differ:

Eliza 1819 - Mother Kitty d of John and Catherine Bilson
John 1820 - Mother Kitty d of John and Charlotte Bilson

Charlotte, the mother of Harriet North who married Francis Cumberland, was the daughter of Thomas and Sarah Cumberland, so possibly related.

Thank you Annie for the look up on the non-con bapts and burials.  Very nice of you to do that for me and was something I was wondering about.  :)

And thank you David for the info re: Francis marriage and about Charlotte/Harriet. I just came across 'North' yesterday on another site so will delve a little further.  :)

and Diddy - what a treasure you have given me.  You have made my day (it's my birthday so it is a nice gift  ;) ).  I have searched high and low for Loughborough Parks with no success. I will now go play on the computer to look up all of your links.  I appreciate all of your information, and the time it took you to do this for me. I will look into Loughborough cemetery.  The only birth that makes sense to me so far is the one you indicated in Nottingham.  Many thanks  :)

Sorry David,  I didn't check the sender closely enough  :-[.  Many thanks to you for the Loughborough Parks info.  As you can tell, it made me day.  :) :)

There's also a poss baptism in 1779 in Willoughby in the Wolds - again in Notts but closer to Loughborough than Radcliffe is

1779 03 14   Son   William   parents  John   and Ann CUMBERLAND            WILLOUGHBY ON THE WOLDS St Mary and All Saints

this is the only listed baptism here for this couple.
