Germany Birth

Hello!

I've recently found out that my grandmother was born in Germany in 1931 through a UK passenger list.

However, I don't know where to go from here as I've searched her name and I can't find a birth record or a baptism. Where would these be located for Germany.

Her husband was stationed in Herford when they married, so maybe she was from there?
