Hi Carol, July Qtr covers July, Aug and September.

Oh I didn't realise that ,I thought that would have been the Sept 1/4 that covered Aug births like the English and Welsh ones.
Hi Carol, The Irish Index's are the same has the English/Welsh

Qtr 1 Jan,Feb,March
Qtr 2 April,May,June
Qtr 3 July, Aug,Sept
Qtr 4 Oct,Nov,Dec

There is two

https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:F19T-L5S  Page 165

or the same one twice..........
They are both the same image numbers so probably transcribe twice
MargP I don't think so. The Volume and Page Numbers are the index generated by the General Registrars office and nothing to do with Family Search, so it does look like 2 births registered 5 pages apart in Volume 2, or as said, the same birth registered twice which I have never seen happen before. I'd get both to see if either match the marriage cert info. They only cost €4 each rather than the very hefty prices for UK certs. and they will email them to you now so no postage charges either.

Yes, my mistake, I have just checked on Ancestry, and it looks like there are 2 entries for a Rose Reilly :-[ :-[

I've come across this with a marriage, can't remember the reason now, it's in a thread here somewhere, granted that one was a few years apart. If it is the same girl twice the GRO will only send and charge for one cert.

Marmaduke Reilly the Orchestra Conductor is maybe pushing it, but I hope the father does turn out to have an oddball forename or occupation, it might just lend some traction to the search!  :)
