You're very welcome. I sat and "chatted" with her for a few minutes before taking the photos. I'd like to think she was listening and knew why I was there.  :)

It's a lovely cemetery and there are huge graves for the nuns and priests. I'm going again during the week, I'll take a photo of the main entrance for you.

Hello Bev.
What a lovely thought, I hope too that Annie could hear you. Annie was married a second time from where my wife is descended. Also in that grave is her only son from her first marriage JamesJoseph Walsh known as uncle Jimmy many years ago and not remembered on the memorial. I suppose it's possible that current descendants don't actually remember him or knew he even existed.
Your photos just make Anna feel a little closer to her grandmother and aunt.
The Landy memorial looks new, whoever placed it there would probably be surprised to learn that they had relatives in New Zealand.
Cheers.
Geoff.

Thanks Gortonboy.
That would be just great.
Maureen is my wife's older sister who she never knew so it would be really special to see a memorial if one exsists.
Cheers.
Geoff.
