Thank you,    I have searched all the Cape Town, Anglican and Methodist  records for this Marriage, but have have not found it,    also  Mary Jane Readman seems to be a mystery,  haven't been able to find anything on her.

I think that you possibly posted this on another site.  I suggest that you contact the Cape Town archives for copies of the estate file.  If you pm me with your email address I can send you the forms to be completed.

Thank You,  Sorry, I perhaps should have mentioned that I have sent for a copy, but due to our  4 month long postal strike, I'm still waiting.

I know that on one of the Ancestry sites, it says Thomas Dawson  Henry  Long was married on the 18 Sep 1899 Cape Town, to Mary Jane Readman, however I have not been able to find the pair in any Anglican or Methodist Church Register,   So, I was wondering where the date was found.   Also, I have only found that TDH LONG (Civil Servant) age 32 left SoutHampton, UK 1903,  if they were married in 1898, when did he first come to South Africa.

I have  Cecil Long and his Brother Thomas Henry Long's Baptisms, they were Baptised in the Observatory , All Angels and St Michael Church,Observatory , C.Town.
Cecil Long ( Government messenger) was married to Arthurleen Amelia Barns, however I cannot find anything on their marriage either, their children were Baptised in St George Cathedral C.Town.

Family, do not know where Arthurleen A.Barnes comes from, or when she was born.
Mary Jane Readman also seems a mystery.  Both do not seem to reflect on any searches.

If anyone is able to help me further,  I would really appreciate it.  I unfortunately do not have access to Ancestry other than at the LDS Library, I did try to contact the Ancestry site owner there, but the address seemed wrong.

Thanking you all for you help
