  :)Hello, does anyone have any information re: Schamburg from Liverpool.

John Schamburg married Sarah Ann Stanton Wid
1880 at St Francis Xaviiers Church Liverpool.
Sarah`s maiden name was Tynan Her father was Michael Tynan. They lived @10 Stitt Street
John Schamburg lived @86 Salisbury Street Liverpool Everton District. His occupation mariner.
His father was Francis Schamburg  warehouseman.deceased @ time of marriage.
Cant find any record of birth of John.
1901 Census says he was born Liverpool ??
I wonder if this is correct. Cant find any record of his father either.
Can anyone help?

For what it's worth, Sarah is recorded in the 1881 census as Sarah A Sanburg at 10 Stitt St, Head of Household and church cleaner.  No sign of John under that spelling or the more obvious mis-spellings.  He may well have been at sea.  Don't have access to 1871, but maybe someone else does.

On FreeBMD site, there are five entries for Schamburg:
