There are a number of Blackdykes around all over Scotland in the period. You have your OPR entry for Muthill, which is where this one has to be

I know it was in muthill, but I am trying to establish what or where it was in Muthill iexactly. I don't know if it was an actual place or farm, or building etc.

I think I've found your Blackdike (sic) directly to the right of Newbigging on the Moor of Drummond between Craiglaggan and Low "something". Right hand edge on this map from 1820 http://maps.nls.uk/view/74400162
