Mary Hartwell

Please can anyone help find  birth and death of Mary Hartwell  The family lived at Rugby , her  brothers were born in 1937 and 1940  in Rugby      I cannot find Mary  ,she would have been  born in the 1940's  and died I think in the 1960's  Her mother was Elsie  Emily Hutchinson  her father Stanley T Hartwell  I would appreciate any help      Tineke

There is no birth or death registration for that name.  The only 2 births with mothers maiden name Hutchinson are the one you already know about.  Parents married in 1937

Mary was my husbands cousin .  I am adding  family to our tree and can't find Mary  . I wonder why  there is no registration  Thanks Tineke

There is no Mary Hartwell birth in any county between 1941-1950

Is it possible she was the wife of another male relative and therefore married into the Hartwell family rather than being born into it?

I notice the 1937 marriage was in Notts - not Warwickshire.  Looks like they had another son in 1939.

Mary did not marry . she  had  a medical condition and was frail also only partially sighted , she  was very young when she died , I think in her   " teens  "   I met her once only  before I married my husband . Her mother was from Notts   that is why they married there , then lived in Rugby

Her surname could not have been Hartwell.  There is no birth and no death under that surname matching the profile given. 

The children to the 1937 marriage were born 1937/39/40 so she must have been born after 1940

Between 1916-2007 there were only 98 Mary Hartwell deaths nationally of which 9 were in Warwickshire although Mary wasn't necessarily their leading christian name

All of the Warwickshire deaths were aged from 50yrs upwards when they died and with the exception of one entry - all were born long before a 1937 marriage. 

I suspect Mary was from another branch of the family with another surname

Thanks for the information   What was the first name of the son born 1939 ?   Mary is now a mystery   , have you any ideas  where to go from here   Regards Tineke
