keyboard86 would it be possible for you to check the 1861 census for me for this family?  I have a death of a George Ball March 1861 at Witney & if this is the correct family Sarah remarried a Jesse Barlow 5/8/1862 Feltham Borough, Hounslaw.   Jesse & Sarah Barlow are on the 1871 census at Tadley, Hampshire along with a daughter Mary Barlow aged 21 born Longcot (whom I presume is Mary Ball-Sarah & George Ball's daughter).

Hi, thank you for this info.  Looks like I need to do some more research & also buy some certificates.    The 1861 census i.e.  Jesse Barlow 30 b Tadley  &  Sarah 36 born Stanford is a little confusing as they weren't married until 1862, but I guess they just didn't mention to the enumerator that they weren't actually married   Appreciate your help

Sarah Ball of full age father Silvester witnesses Thomas Barlow & Sarah ?
Residence at time Feltham.
Can anyone check these details & work out Sarah Ball's father's name i.e. is Silvester his surname or first name??   Also the surname of the witness Sarah???
