Hi zhunter71,

I read the missing parts (in bold) as follows:

place of death - Derby City Hospital

Occupation - Of 8  St Helens Close, Darley Dale, Matlock an Iron Foundry labourer (retired)

Informant - George R Bates, Son, 2a 8? Derby Road, Chesterfield

The informant address could be a flat (ie flat 2a) at no 8 Derby Road, but I am not certain.

Hope this helps.

Kind regards

David

It isnt clear, but I am getting more convivced the informant's house no is 298
The 9 is like the 9 of 1960 in the first column
Edmonds/Edmunds - mainly Sussex
DeBoo - London
Green - Suffolk
Parker - Sussex
Kemp - Essex
Farrington - Essex

thanks guys!  i think 298 is more likely as 8 was in the end row of small terraced houses, unlikely big enough to split into flats .....  thanks for the help!  ;D
