Hi!

We are desperately seeking info on Archie Sinclair and Belle Booth.

We believe the children of Archie and Belle were:

John C. Sinclair, b. 13 May 1815, County Tyrone
Margaret Sinclair, b. 1820, County Tyrone
Barbara Sinclair, b. 1829,
James Sinclair, b. 5 Jan 1830, County Tyrone
Susanna, b. 28 Feb 1831, County Tyrone

John C. Sinclair married Mary Moore about 1836 in County Tyrone.

John and Mary's first three children were:
Isabella, b. 28 Dec 1841, near Newton Stewart
Archibald, b. 2 Feb 1847, County Tyrone
Ann Jane, b. about 1850, Ireland

Also looking for Hugh Sinclair, b. about 1809, married Margaret, b. about 1803.  They were both born in Newton Stewart as well as all their children so we assume they were married there.

We believe the children of Hugh and Margaret were:

Robert Sinclair, b. 1832, of Newton Stewart
John Sinclair, b. 1834, Newton Stewart
Ann Sinclair, b. 1 Jan 1837, of Newton Stewart
Hugh Sinclair Jr., b, 1841, Newton Stewart

All of these individuals came to America (except probably Archie and Belle).  Most lived and died in Monroe County, Iowa.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Also, Isabella Sinclair's headstone in Monroe County, Iowa, shows she was born in Newton Stewart, Ireland.  Is this the same place as Newtownstewart?

Sincerely,
Sue R.
