 In the 1940 US census I have found Winifred Coyle age 38 Widowed with her 4 children James 12, Rosemary 11, John 7, William F 4 .This is in Ward 28 Philadelphia city with an ED 51-840. Could some kind person please help me to find out if this detailed district takes in house No 2257 Bancroft St. Philadelphia city?. Regards

The image of the 1940 census shows them as being at 1643 Dauphin St.  Looking at Google maps, these addresses are probably only a few blocks away.

It looks like the answer is 'No.'  If you enter 2257 Bancroft St., Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, ED 51-840 is not one of the possibilities that comes up.
