Hi all,

my maternal great grandmother Margaret { Muphy McIntosh } had a son called
John William McIntosh, born Hartlepool 1887, John William McIntosh inlisted in DLI 1904 in
Stockton on Tees where his mother lived { Ann st }  J W McIntosh was killed weeks after the great war broke out, it wasn't until very recently i wondered if he had married, he had, to
Milly Emily Peacock, Feb 1912, they may have had a child John William McIntosh jnr,
just wondered if J W McIntosh grew up and married him self, i know today here in Stockton quiet
a few Peacock's and McIntosh living in area, please can any one connect to this, would love to be in touch.
Milly Peacock's father was John William Peacock { deceased on marriage certificate }

5 children from this marriage from 1941 to 1954. All can be found on Freebmd and may still be alive.

The marriage gives her as Marbisher but on children's registration it is Harbisher.

You need to take their names off here, Derek - they could well still be alive!

The last one is male - Sept quarter 1954

In Freebmd put in births - McIntosh with mother's maiden name Harbisher and Durham SE. For dates put from 1940 and leave the other date blank. 5 names will come up.

his father occupation, if soldier then he's my McIntosh.

  I got a reply about the John William McIntosh & Virginia Harbisher,
Stockton register have that wedding but for 1914, iv'e asked them to look again for 1940,
on freebmd does it state 1940 marriage for Stockton on Tees.
