Parents of Ann Ridley, stapleton cumberland

Hello

I was wondering if someone could help me find the parents of Ann Ridley. She was born in Cumberland in 1796 and she married Joseph Steel in Stapleton in 1815.

She died in 1872. Checking family search, I cannot find a baptism. I think she came from Nichol Forest, according to her marriage.

Where does census give as her place of birth

The 1851 census says Cannock Hill, Cumberland and the 1861 census says Farlem Cumberland.

Her marriage record says Arthuret

Could Cannock be Carrock, there is Carrock Castle not far from Farlam. 

I would imagine that the place mentioned on her marriage was her residence at the time unless there is any reason you think otherwise.

the one for carlisle is definately not her

Could be, but the date is off. She is still alive on the 1871 census, could give another possible location
