Edward Cyril Waller born Edmonton, London, England in 1909 was my uncle. He left for Brisbane, Australia on the 'Orama' departing London 05/03/1927 and arriving Brisbane 04/04/1927. He is listed on the manifest as E. C. Waller.
His parents were Frederick and Ida Waller, & my father was Richard Waller and was 7 years old when Edward left.
He is listed as the co-defendant in a divorce case in the Courier Mail (Brisbane, Queensland) 14/11/1936 with Kathleen Helen. By the time the case came to court they had already had a child in June 1936.

Kathleen Helen took the name Waller and is again listed in the newspapers in January 1941 (Marlborough Chronical, Wide Bay & Burnett Advertiser) a coroners case when their second child Margaret Joan died of diphtheria in 17/12/1940 at Hadfield Street, Albion, Queensland.
I cannot find any further information on Edward - he wasn't at the Hadfield Street address when Margaret died - I thought he may have enlisted for WW2 but have had no luck there. He is not listed with Kathleen in two later census / electoral roles.
Also am unsure if they ever legally got married - any help would be greatly appreciated - Janis
