Rosie,Jebber dawnsh thanks for all your help and input.
All the information and facts I have, concerning soldier George and my George point me to the fact that they are the same man. I haven't got 100% proof, but think if C.S.I were involved we could get a result, due to circumstantial evidence

My George was born in Lewisham_ soldier born Lewisham
My George married to Mary Linton_ soldier married to m.Linton
My George lived in Bournemouth_ soldier enlisted Bournemouth
My George was a baker_ soldier was enlisted into army service corps before kings royal rifle Corp. I've since discovered that the men with service number concurrent to soldier George , and posted with George, were mostly transferred from army service corps, into kings royal rifle Corp. Quite a few of these men were bakers on surviving service records and a few on 1911 census records.
My George lived boscombe grove road, Bournemouth on 1911 census_ soldier George adress on war graves commission given as malmesbury road Bournemouth in 1918, also capstone road Bournemouth where Mary Linton is living are just over a mile apart.
Also no death records for George in and around Bournemouth area, when as jebber has discovered, the rest of the family lived, married and died in this area, which gives pointers to George death away from area ie, in france/Flanders in 1918.
I don't know, but does anybody agree , that we've got the right man, or can a defence lawer, throw a spanner in the works

Thanks again
Mark
