Tregare Parish
« on: Sunday 04 January 15 11:59 GMT (UK) »
I wonder if anyone can help me please?

I have a Mary Jones bapt 15 Oct 1829 to John and Charlotte Jones at Tregare PC.
I know she had a younger brother William and a younger sister Ann, both born before 1842. Can anyone help in finding their Baptisms in Tregare please. I believe that Find my Past has some copies of Tregare PR but I am not sure what they cover. Thank you

So glad  :) Do you have the couple's marriage on 13 July 1829 in the parish?

Yes Thank you, but I just can't find Charlotte death between 1836 and 1841. The Registrar
says there is no death certificate for her!  I come off their daughter Mary bapt 15 Oct 1829.
Thanks for your help Kay.

The parish records don't show her burial between 1835-45

Kay

Edit - Were the family still in the parish in 1841?

Thank you Kay.
Would you mind checking for William or Ann death before the 1841 census Please?
On the 1841 census there was only John and Mary living together, (Father and daughter).

I can't see a burial for either William or Ann.   Could they have been living with relatives??

Found an Ann Jones below in the parish in 1841 living at Lower Park Tregare.  I did wonder whether Ann could be a granddaughter?   I couldn't see another baptism of an Ann Jones at the right time in the village

John Jones 46 Labourer
Elizabeth Jones    50
Ann Jones    8
