Would sks please do a 1891 census look up for the GODSON family living in School Lane/road Alcester for me please.

All I have is info from family that my G Grandparents lived in School Lane/road Alcester, I know that my Grandfather was born in Alcester in 1905 if that helps

If it is a good start would be to order this birth certificate which will give both his mother and his father's names.
Armed with this we can then search the census images fron 1901 backwards to find the rest of the family.

I cannot find any Godsons born or living in Alcester on the 1901 census. People moved address very frequently in those days.

If you don't get any more inform from anyone else send for that cert and get back to us.

Sorry Tricia having difficulty trying to reply on this hope this works.

yes Arthur Godson is my grandfather unfortunately all known relatives on that side of the family have passed on so can only go on what my mother knows of the family which isn't a great deal.
