My Grandmother was Mary Boyce, Drumcondra Branch CnamB. I have a photo of a reunion some time in the 1940's of Drumcondra Branch taken in the Gresham Hotel.
The GM of The Gresham at the time was a Timothy (Toddy) o Sullivan. When he heard who exactly the reunion was for, he put the hotel at the ladies disposal & all charges were waived. Toddys Bar in the Gresham is named after him. My father 90yrs old) can name most of the women in the photo as he remembers them calling to his mother.

I would love to see that photo if i could. My granny was mary kinarney later became murphy and was a member from 1917-21. I managed to get her pension details but there was very little information so trying to pick up snippets from anywhere.

Ang, I will try to post the photo on this forum. Also, last year I gave Liz Gillis a number of photos of my grandmother including the reunion one. She published them in her book 'Women of the Irish Revolution' released last November.
I am pretty sure Margaret Jordan is in the photo too.

Unfortunately my granny is not in that. Will show to my dad to see does he recognise anyone. Great photo-some strong and courageous women there.
