1841 census lookup
« on: Friday 16 January 15 17:26 GMT (UK) »
Hi,
can anyone, find this man for me?

Edward Honour/Honor-age c 18-not born in county(he's from Buckinghamshire)-not married-possibly a servant.
He ended up as a Butler by 1851 but it's highly unlikely he was one that young-lol :) :) :)

In 1845 he's living in Scrivelsby. So perhaps he's already there by 1841.(he got married in Haltham in that year and it's in the marriage records).

Many thanks

Trisha :) :) :)

Hi Trisha, although stating born Middlesex, I would seriously suggest the Edward Honnor aged 20 shown along with many other Male & Female Servants in Wimpole Street, Marylebone in 1841?
Census Ref HO107/676/ 6/45 / 33

Who were his parents, and have you found them in 1841?

Hi everyone,
sorry don't know who his parents are.I've only just started looking for him .I was researching family in Lincolnshire and he married into the family.Although I havn't seen the actual census return someone on here looked up his wife and his family on the 1851 census and it said he came from Buckingham.I did have a very quick look on family search and the only Edward Honor/Honour born around that time in Buckinghamshire seemed to come from Ickworth, but that's a stab in the dark.Thats all I know.

Trisha :)

:) Still suggest the 1841 I posted is a reasonable shout?

Hi,
not sure,Middlesex is an awful long way from Ickford, which is almost in Oxfordshire. Can't see why he would put Middlesex down as his place of birth.

He is in London in later censuses, so just into Lincolnshire for a short time.

But his marriage certificate for Father would help.

Can anyone see them in 1861?
