births or baptisms 1766 Francis Chisnell/chiswell

Hi all
where would I find the births or baptisms of Francis Chisnell/chiswell born around 1766 ireland .
He died in Huddersfield in 1841 but no other information is known I think they were in Manchester for a time when first married his wife Mary.I don't have a marriage either any help

For Irish research it is important to know in which parish, or townland, the person was born and which religious denomination he/she was.

The reason being that you have to look at parish records!

You could also try FamilySearch.org or www.irishgenealogy.ie/en/
Garrad (Suffolk, Essex, Somerset), Crocker (Somerset), Vanstone (Devon, Jersey), Sims (Wiltshire), Bridger (Kent)

Civil registration of births started in 1864 and for earlier dates you need to search for church records but before 1800 there are few surviving records and not all that survive are online.

Click on 'report to moderator' and ask for this topic to be moved from Ireland Resources (which is not for posting queries) to the Ireland-General board. Without a more exact place than 'Ireland' chances are very slim that you will find any records butperhaps someone researching the same family might see your message and get in touch.
