PENTLOW BAPTIMS - SIMPSON
« on: Monday 04 July 05 14:28 BST (UK) »
Does any kind person have the Pentlow Baptism records for the late 1700s?  I am interested in the baptism of a GEORGE SIMPSON in Pentlow in about 1790, give or take about 5 years.  If anyone can help it would be most appreciated.
Thank you.

Essex Record Office Pentlow baptisms ref D/P 23/1/2 fiche 1 of 1. I looked from 1785 to 1795 but could find no SIMPSONs. Some of the images were very poor and a lot of the time the search could only be made on the basis of looking for a 'George' and then considering whether the last name was/could be SIMPSON

Hello,
Thank you very much for your reply and my sincere apologies for the very late reply, but I have had to get a new PC as my old one went into terminal decline this summer and eventually passed away.  I am only now catching up with things.
Thanks again and sorry again!!
Regards,
Brian
