I agree, that's what's confusing about this. I'm not sure if all the date are correct or if records are accurate.

All the children apart from Edith Harrison were born in a place named  "St Pancras", and Edith was born in Leyton, Essex. There mother was born in St Pancras, London. So I'm thinking that's "St Pancras". I'm just finding it strange that 3 of his kids don't "have" a mother from his previous marriage in Australia, and then he moves back to England and re marries.

There's a stand alone tree with Henry George Harrison born 1859 marrying Alice Chandler 1891 in Marylebone, all the children of the same name born as listed previosuly here in England.

No mention of an Australian connection.

Hi Noy,

Can I ask how you know that your 3rd great grandfather married twice, and that the second one was half a world away from the first marriage?   Did he take the children, including your 2nd great grandparent, of that first marriage with him to England?  If so, they should be findable on UK census records.....

Cheers,  JM
