What was the name of Henry George HARRISON's next wife?   If that marriage was in Victoria, then the information on that marriage cert should include details about the demise of Henry's wife Alice HARVEY.

George Henry Harrison 1884 – 1927
Birth- Carlton, Victoria, Australia


Ernest Peverel Harrison 1886 –
Birth- Carlton, Victoria, Australia


Ethel Mary Harrison 1887 – 1970
Birth- Carlton, Victoria, Australia

George did marry after Alice's death. But I am not sure if her death date is correct. As they had 4 children together but 3 are born after she died. But they are registed as her children. He had 7 children with his new wife (I think, its really unclear)

Henry's next wife was also called Alice, but I do not know her last name. That's probably not much help but she was apparently born in 1867. But their 7 children were born a lot later 1896-1907. Which makes her 40 when she had he last child, which is quite old to be having children back then. I don't know if it's a mistake or anything if you know what I mean, I do not have any other records on Henry's re marriage so I am unsure.

So, where were the second lot of children born ...... Victoria ? as their birth certs will have details of their mum's former name      And, quite often, the online index for Vic will have her former name there too.....

I find it unusual that a widowed man with 4 very young children born 1883-1887 doesn't have a 'mother' for them until another comes along and starts having children in 1894.
