There is a Birth Reg June 1881 and Marriage Reg for Alfred William Byles but he does not seem to appear on the 1901 Census under that name.

in 1901 could he be under FREDERICK Byles, Nephew, Lodging with the Mead Family (William/Emily Mead).
Fredrick is born c 1881 Buckhurst Hill, Essex, Occp Plumbers Labourer.**
A James Byles 1873 is there also, Occp Plumber
(I can find no Birth Reg for a Frederick Byles)

Marriage Reg;June 1895, St Saviour, 1d 189

I've found the Probate record - William Alfred Byles d,Oct 1939. Probate to Ada Martha Byles widow.

Also found their son, Leslie going off to the US - to stay with uncle A J Byles.
So, I'm trying to find Alfred with a brother A J Byles, but can't find anything there either - yet

A lot of the London PR's (not all), are on Ancestry.
I was looking for any potential PR entry. ;D
