Can anyone assist me with information on Rev Frank JONES. 1901 we was at the Congregational  church Pontywain.
Any other information would be most appreciated

I presume you found the reference to Rev Frank Jones on the Kelly's Directory of Monmouthshire 1901 for the parish of Risca http://www.rootschat.com/links/index.php http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~familyalbum/krisca.htm  The directory also refers to him living in Pontyminster at the time

there are other requests for look ups on Rev frank Jones
I do not think the Rev who died Isle of Wight 1902 -was married to Florence - can be the same one as he appears in 1901 census in Isle of Wight and was a C of E minister

rodhill (in previous posts) states Rev Frank Jones was a Baptist minister and had a son William b Ebbw Vale and was in Pontywaun in 1901

Frank Jones wife is unknown but we know he had a son William 1877 at we believe as Abbw vale
the family story is that Frank was a Baptised minister but may be he was not
Can anyone find a Frank with a son William after 1877 so he would be around in 1881
this is a very big brick wall
William was a miner latter in life.

William's birth certificate would give mother's name (and maiden name)
