Hi all, just looking at my family tree...
wondering where is this place?
I think it might be Guilsfield? but im not sure if it would be pronounced in the same way

Hi, I agree it could well be Guilsfield in Montgomeryshire, it depends on whoever wrote it down interpreted what was said I suppose, as Guilsfield could well sound like Gillsfield
