Seeking info on Henry William HUGGINS born about 1847 in East Hendred, Berkshire to Amy HUGGINS. I am trying to find when he died. It will be any time after 1913 as he was a witness at his daughter's wedding. Also would like any info on an ironworks near Abingdon as this is where he said he worked on the census records. Thank you.

Hi and welcome to Rootschat

Is Henry on the 1911 census?  Can you give some details of his wife and children so we can determine the right family.  Who was the daughter who married in 1913?

The 1891 has a Henry W Huggins b 1845 Marcham Berks but his occ is gardener and wife is Ellen.  Living in Essex. 1901 shows he was Henry Walter so we can rule him out.

In 1901 - there is a Henry Huggins b 1848 Milton Berks occ driller in ironworks - wife was Mary Ann

Henry declares his birthplace as East Hendred only in the 1851 and 1861 censuses.
After that his birthplace is Milton.

Married to Mary Ann Berry in 1875 (I think!)

There is a 1931 death in Essex on freebmd for a Henry W Huggins b 1845 but it may be the Henry Walter Huggins I found in 1891 living in Essex (but living in Kent on the last available census)

The daughter that was married in 1913 was Kate. His wife was Mary Ann and he had 2 sons living with him, Charles and Harry. In 1911 census Henry says his occupation is farm labourer. :)
