Hello you kind people, I am back......I received the BC for Thomas Spark English and thru that I have managed to get down to his G Grandfather, George English 1825. I have found him in all the census reports except the 1841. I have searched ancestry and couldn't locate him (or find a birth / baptism) so I looked on FS and found him there for the 1841 census but I do not have membership with FindMyPast, please could I be cheeky and ask if someone could tell me if he is with any parents / siblings.  :D

1841: Name:  George English,  Age:  15  Birthplace: Durham, Schedule Type: Household, Registration District:  Auckland, Sub-District:  Bishop Auckland,  Parish: Merrington, County:  Durham

John Spark Inglis, b. 1907, married Violet May Ridley, in 1941, Gateshead.

Violet was the daughter of John William Ridley and Jane Ann Snowdon.
Jane Ann Snowdon was my gt grandmothers sister.

Just as a side note, as nobody has mentioned it. re middle names

There was a tradition that some people used in that the middle name was the mothers maiden name.

Ie my great grandmothers maiden name was priest. She married a Taylor

One of her sons for example was then called Leonard Priest Taylor
