1733 Bywell Northumberland marriage

Hi, I'm trying to find verification of a marriage said to have taken place on 15 May 1733 at Bywell, Northumberland, between Anthony Hall and Isabel Michelson. I am so far unable to find evidence of this, and wondered if anyone could help.

They apparently had a daughter named Ann Hall, born/baptised 10 May 1747 in Scotland. Not sure if this is the case.

Ann Hall married James Paterson who was born in 1746, Melrose, Roxburgh, Scotland, and one of their children, Anthony Paterson, was born 22 Mar 1777 in Oxnam, Roxburgh.

Despite searching I cannot find Anthony and Isabel's marriage, Ann Hall's birth or her marriage to James Paterson. Here's hoping somebody else is able to!

If you look at GENUKI 's pages for Bywell St Peter ~ click on Church records, there is a marriage index. This does state that the couple were married there on the date you have.

Thank you Claire - an extremely quick response! This must be the birth that was meant. I don't usually think of Genuki, but it's got some really useful information.

I've now gone to the Scottish forum to find out about her marriage.
