Tyrrell King Harwell
« on: Thursday 19 February 15 12:32 GMT (UK) »
I have the will of William Tyrrell of Harwell made in October 1805 and proved in October 1806. Following is an excerpt from that will: "In Trust for my reputed son William Tyrrell King (Son of Mary King of Harwell aforesaid widow)"
Can anyone find the baptism of this William Tyrrell King, the marriage of Mary to a King and the death of the King?

I believe William Tyrrell King married Jemima King 17 Feb 1817 at Harwell then moved to Farnborough.

Hi antiqueone,

In the Harwell transcripts there is this entry;
Baptism;
18-5-1791 William Tyrrell s/o Mary King, a Bastard
                William Tyrrell the father. born May 4th

The marriage you mentioned took place as listed with the wits;
John Bennet King, Mary Bennet King.

I couldn't see a marriage for Mary to a King or burials the fits.

Taken from the transcripts issued by the Oxfordshire FHS on CD OXF-WAN02

Hi Alan
Thanks for the quick reply. I'm hoping to find out the relationship to John Bennett King because his son Francis later marries into the family.
