Can anyone date and clean up this one please my Granddad John William Martin

this again I have been told its my Granddad John William Martin b 1907 in Dudley. Thank you in advance.

Well I gave it a go for you but the image isn't great and it's a low resolution scan too.

Absolutely nothing there to date, angel...the only shot we'd have at it would be to see the entire thing uncropped, including any printing that might be on it, front or back.

It is very low resolution, but I gave it a go also.   Do you have the original? If so, might be worth rescanning it at 300dpi and reposting.
