Please can someone put a date on this one

I have been told this is my Grandmother Alice Florence Mocroft b in 1908 Dudley, Staffs my Dad is unsure. Please can we date it to ascertain if its her. All help appreciated thank you in advance.

That would make this photo around 1917/18 so I would say this photo is a lot later than that.

I was thinking the picture looked more like the 40s than the 20s. She certainly looks like my Grandmother but could be her daughter.
