Death lookup please - Robert Conniff 1865-1933
« on: Friday 20 February 15 14:59 GMT (UK) »
Good afternoon,

I hope this finds you well. I was wondering whether anybody could point me in the right direction for finding the burial location for Robert Conniff (1865-1933)? At the time of his death, he was living in Llanbradach and the family suspect that he is likely to be buried at St. Martin's Church in Caerphilly.

Any help would be most appreciated.

Kind regards,

Lynda

Hi Jeff,

Thanks for getting in touch. We are aware that he is registered in Pontypridd but we are uncertain about the location of his gravestone.

Kind regards,

Lynda

Have you tried contacting the church where you think he might be buried?
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

Hi, There is a burial of an Alice Conniff in 1916 at Caerphilly, but it doen't say where it was, so it may not be St Martins, sorry but my records don't go up to 1933 for Robert's burial.
Usually people are buried where they live, unless they choose to be buried where they were born or married, which sometimes happens.
Best wishes Rowley

Have you looked at Welsh Newspapers, there are about 60 or so entries for the name Conniff,
