Marriage in Naas
« on: Friday 20 February 15 20:51 GMT (UK) »
Hi
I have a marriage in Naas in 1877 of

Frederick William O'Connor
and
Jane Maher

I have the source on Ancestry but would like to purchase the record.
I have tried to find it on RootsIreland without success. I have also tried to find it on GRO but to be honest I don't know how.
Frederick William O'Connor was in the army at the time.

1877 Naas Volume 17 page 748

Can someone help me please.

Cheers Ian

GRO certificates aren't available online so you have to order the certificate using the index references.

Just in case you don't have these children-

Emily born 1880 Cork https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:FGKZ-QFC
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

If you haven't read that thread to the end ( it's very long now) you may not realise you can get the cert sent to you via email although you can't order it that way. Don't forget to order a research/photocopy cert.

Thanks Sinann
I noticed on Familysearch that the record was in Belfast and I thought it could perhaps be ordered from there.

I'm a bit puzzled by the Belfast reference- could you explain further?

This is the Naas marriage but I can't see a link to Belfast-

Hi,
You can these on line now. The Health Service in Ireland site.
hse.ie
they are 20 euro.
They are only about 10 to 15 if you go to the offices.
Any record after 1864 they have.
I have been to most offices in Ireland over the years and had no trouble in getting any of my records.

It's much cheaper to order the 4 Euro research certificate.
