D.N. Lee, Brentford, Middlesex.

D.N. Lee who gave his wartime address as Brentford, Middlesex was the pilot of 77 Squadron's Whitley Z6570 that was lost lost on operation to Berlin 9/10 April 1941.

In Stalag Luft VI and Stalag 357 Lee along with my father Walter Layne and 5 other NCO s from their mess formed a combine for self preservation.  They pooled all of their resources as a group.  They would barter and scavenge for food and fuel and share the cooking responsibilities.

In 1935 and 37 there is a John Joseph and Violet Harper LEE at 276 Lionel Road Hounslow( Brentford)

Possibly his parents?

They are still there in 1949 too.
