William Hayward (b. circa 1795 in Kings Sutton
« on: Wednesday 25 February 15 09:38 GMT (UK) »
I am researching a Hayward family and have a William Hayward born around 1795 in Kings Sutton (he died in 1878 in Brackley district, aged 83).  William Hayward had married Elizabeth Giles in 1823 and they appear on the 1841 & 1851 censuses with their 7 children.  Can anyone help me find William's birth/baptism and thereby verify his parentage?

Many thanks Sandy, this is great info - you say this is from the Northants Baptism & Marriage indexes, may I ask if this is available online?  I would like to have documentary evidence to support my family history if that's possible.  Also like to know if there were any siblings for William Hayward - I really appreciate your help
Regards
Robert

Hi Robert.

The information is not on line but Alan Clarke noted below my postings has
indexed a large amount of Bap, Marriages, Burials etc for the County with Marilyn Ponting.

The information I gave from the Parish records was from original images
which can be obtained from the Northamptonshire Record Office or
Northampton Central Library. If not able to visit a phone call to them may be of help.

I have only just read your post! The William Hayward you mention is my first cousin five times removed! I have been researching the Haywards of Kings Sutton since 2005 and have had printed a family tree which is over 7 metres long, so I may be able to help if you have any further queries.
