restoring grave stone of Civil War Solider George Ridg(e)way

In 2009 I came across a photo of my GGGrandfather's head stone but as you can see it is really in bad shape is it possible for a clean up please? if not no worries maybe one day someone can repair the stone itself (that I have to find out who to ask :) )
