I would like to thankyou for the link you posted on the Navy minesweeper wrecked near Crete thread.

My mother's older brother lost his life when the  HMAS Parramatta (Cdr. J.H. Walker, R.A.N., DSC) was torpedoed and sunk on 27 November 1941 by U-559 off  Tobruk, Lybia. There were 24 survivors but 138 men, including all officers, lost their lives. My uncle was only 17 years old when he died.

On this link I found a photo and information about the HMAS Parramatta, but also a story from a magazine written by a survivor from the ship. It was only written  a few months ago, so it may be possible to contact the author, and show my appreciation.

It would be wonderful if he remembered my uncle.
