Hello, I need someone in Coventry to look at Directories held at the Herbert History Centre. I am trying to get the address of a person (now deceased ) who lived in Coventry 1950/60,s.

answer any post, reply to anything including your post and do that twice more THEN you will activate personal messaging................................       the word please wouldnt go astray on lookups where SKS has to meander accross the planet to a destination..............

if you are near a large public library the London POD volumes should cover an addie that u seek.....

To search street directories that are not online you generally need to know the address as they are not indexed by name.

Hello Rosie, thank you for your info. The Herbert in Coventry tell me that their Directories are alphabetical by persons name so I still have a hope, I did contact two local F.H.Researchers but they did not have the time to help me. Cheers.
